Presenter: Dr. Denise DeCoste
Dr. DeCoste is an occupational therapist and a special educator with 30+ years of experience in the field of assistive technology. She led two AT teams (InterACT and HIAT) in Montgomery County Maryland Public Schools for over 20 years. She received her doctorate in education and human development in 1993 with a dissertation focusing on using assistive technology to improve the spelling and writing development of students with severe speech and physical disabilities. She is the author of PAR (Protocol for Accommodations in Reading) and uPAR (online version of PAR).
